Release Therapy (Audio CD)

Customer Review

In his now fifth studio album "Release Therapy" to Luda presents usual strong and at a high level. He leaves on pretty much any track of his anger run wild and dissed pretty much everything in America has rank and name. Whether musician or actor, on "Release Therapy" gets just about everyone be fat away. And that makes Luda just great! Completely twisted and intelligent Rhymes prove once again that Luda is one of the best rappers of Durty Durty has to offer. Is assisted by the rapper from Champaign, Illinois this well-known producers such as The Neptunes, The Runners or Polow da Don. On Miikrofon he will be accompanied by, among others, Pimp C, Mary J Blige, his protégé Bobby Valentino, Pharell Williams, Young Jeezy and R. Kelly. So the album starts strongly. The second track "Grew Up A Screw Up" with Young Jeezy is a real bomb. A successful Gangsta song with fat Notorious BIG sample. The first single "Money Maker (feat. Pharrell)" is a real hit. A song is about money and women backed by a gentle beat of the Neptunes. Madness! Ludacris and The Neptunes easy match, as you could already hear on the track "Southern Hospitality" from Ludacris' debut album. The whole is now also all six years ago, so it was with "Money Maker" at the time for a new hit. The next track "Girls Gone Wild" is about the present situation in the Hip Hop Luda portrays skillfully. After all Gangsta Tracks now are a few quieter R & B numbers for the ladies. "End Of The Night" and "Woozy" are the two songs with features from Bobby Valentino or R. Kelly. The two songs sound almost similar and go so well into each other. The next song, however, let the two rather chilly songs fade into the background. On "Tell It Like It Is" and "War With God" and "Do Your Time" is Luda presented by his tougher side. "Tell It Like It Is", for example, deals with all wannabe rappers in the game. Especially Chingy gets here in the Focus, but only in a positive way, even when Luda wants to have nothing more to do in the future with him. Other artists would get away their fat here with Jay-Z and Eminem and 50 Cent, who necessarily need to be stopped in his opinion. The who can understand, as Fiddy and Co anyway no longer so successful are as before. The earlier already mentioned track "Do Your Time" with Mega Features of Pimp C, Beanie Sigel and C-Murder is over prison life and how to survive there best. A dream of a hip hop song with the message "Keep Your Head Up". Another also very tough track would "slap" by Luda George W. Bush takes tough for his government way into court. However, he speaks only of what everyone thinks. At the end of his fifth studio album, but then again there are quieter songs on the ears. "Runaway Love (feat. Mary J Blige)" tells of the tragic life stories of four young girls have to master all the various problems. The song is by the way a very successful remake to Tupac's megahit "Brenda's Got A Baby". The final track on "Release Therapy" is called "Freedom Of Preach" to the Ludacris to the forgiveness of his sins asks. A more appropriate conclusion could not have passed. He is supported here by Bishop Eddie Lee Long. I personally can the album therefore mainly due to its lyrical perfection highly recommended and must say that it is definitely one of the best works of the Mister Dirrty South has ever delivered.
