Large misjudged singer

Already in the 80's there was a great singer who was as Anstacia born white, but black (and extraordinarily animated) sounds. Taylor Dayne had 1987/8 several top hits, especially here in Germany with "Tell it to My Heart" and "Prove Your Love". On their second album in 1989 it sounds mature and converts on Arrived the Pop / Rock / Adult Contemporary paths. I have the album since it was released and I must say, it is still one of my favorite albums. Exclusively great pop songs, especially the singles like "Love Will Lead You Back" (their only No. 1 hit in the US - 1990), "I'll be your shelter" and "Heart of stone". Tip: "Is not No Good" on the Taylor Dayne rocking out erstals really. A song that's really addictive. Just like the album!
