a singing album

A large format album 32 * 32 cm which offers a comfortable reading with flattening the pages to make the most of the illustrations that occupy the entire space.
I personally recommend the large format album because these are the illustrations and the staging of the text which are the main interest of this well-known story after an African tale.
A frog has enough to eat midges, sitting on his lily pad. She goes on a journey to discover what each animal eats. Finally, she goes home ... but found a new occupant in the pond.
The story itself is told very quickly (10 minutes of play) and has little interest after the second reading if we do not make the effort to dramatize the story.
But in making the voices of animals, singing the refrain that punctuates the whole album "Hopi hopa, there she goes", it becomes a joy for both young and old.
Side illustration, love it or hate it. I loved the very special graphics and the bias will show, firstly, that part of the animal met by the frog and melt into the landscape (the hippopotamus first st a mountain, for example). this leaves a lot of room for imagination and poetry.
