Then the Symphonie60 pulled shortlisted and that was a good decision.
Now to the cage itself:
- Size: 80cm wide, 50cm deep and 88cm high ca
- The grating part is in one piece, stable and does not have to be plugged together with any plastic clips. Above, a handle with which the cage can actually be transported.
- Grid spacing: 0.9cm. You can see the bars in the center spreading to 1,1cm for a water dispenser or feeder.
- The thin struts are 2mm thick and the thicker 3mm.
- The floor pan has a height of 16cm. Since the sand remains where it belongs and not flying around the apartment.
- Considering the shell with the sand out, however, remains during cleaning time a gap of 3cm height for any escape attempts.
- The attached 4 perches are made of wood. 1 bath house, 1Wasserspender and 4 food bowls are. Taking the dish out makes the hole with a flap closure. If you use a non-food dish I recommend the flap with binding wire to secure. A parakeet with perseverance and sense of humor gets the flap on its own.
-The doors are a bit too small and impractical attached. For a bathhouse it fits, but if you handle inside want (clean, rods grow etc.) you have to pretty bend;) So far, the only downside, but also costs a star.
- The sand box is relatively stable and can be filled with sand well slide into the base tray
- The color of the tray supplied is probably a matter of luck. Mine is gray, the pet store she was dark blue and on the Amazon product image it appears to be beige.
