Late musical insights

The old violinist-pianist of the famous Beaux Arts Trio experienced in his 90s
again something like a pianistic Ancient Ways heyday.
As a pianist, his beautiful trios he has some (famous) violinist and cellist also
musically survived as an elder statesman all his subordinate ministers.

When he in 2014, after years and the impact suffered as a German Jew Nazi era,
for the first time with the Berlin Philharmonic (with Simon Rattle) with
Mozart concerts, that was a really touching event, musical exceedingly
insightful, experienced and rich, of course, limited purely pianistic virtuosity.
But both times were Mozart's piano concertos musical moments.

This late temporal recording of two great piano sonatas of his contemporaries
Beethoven (No.31-flat major) and Schubert (No.21-B-Dur) discloses any case something like
a level-headed, old as insight into a late work, the primary without too virtuosity
is also quite plausible represented musically.
Menahem Pressler succeed but amazing feat, with its age-related
Playing technique to create a sound and sound, the shape of musical Gahalts
also to formulate both sonatas and the (over) to transform Sensual.
On so trivial as purely pianistic cometh to no thought.
Even the late Chopin Nocturne wins darart a mature, contemplative quality.
Also sonically a very nice, true recording.
