- Obviously, many Pink Floyd fans have problems with the age or musical he stopped in the years 60/70. Of course this sounds from the Pink Floyd late period "cruel" commercially. Since high sales and a good marketing but can also stand for quality, this is mandatory to understand here as a compliment. Pink Floyd had never intended to challenge with this album sociopolitical discussions. Of this we had to Roger Waters times enough; without the 70's to provide the musical genius of Waters until the end in question. But here it was just to really cool music. One thing is certain: After musical nadir on "The Final Cut" was no longer with Roger Waters unfortunately. This one has to take note of, even if it is painful. All the more surprising that Pink Floyd have again brought everything out of himself what was in you. Superb melodies, guitar solos of the finest and 1a production. What more do you want. This album conveys a no side effects to the realm of dreams. Finally, would you ever almost broken to the side effects Pink Floyd years ago. For me, "a momentary lapse of reason" one of the finest rock albums ever. Definitely a highlight of musikalisher 80s. Of course, music is always a matter of taste, but who distributed only 2 stars for this album is imprisoned for 6 months, and "music" tortured with hip-hop. Maybe so increases the willingness to open up this brilliant album.
