After one year, appears with the time coil finally a two-part radio play of the series MARK BRANDIS. The story connects seamlessly to the last consequences, and tells of the impact of Icarus disaster. However priority have not the terrible consequences for the population of the world and the scarcity of resources, but a downright fantastic science fiction story with espionage elements. Mark Brandis goes James Bond, one might say. Action, there is little in the first part of the radio play, for a lot of talk. Thanks to the outstanding speakers like Michael Lott (Mark Brandis) Anna Dorothea Hagena (Ruth O'Hara), Oliver Rohrbeck (Walter Hildebrand) André Beyer (Leonardo Assante) and many more, but will not be bored. Much emphasis once more placed on the synthesis and characterization of Mark Brandis, who may react very emotional here. A nice challenge for Michael Lott. The noises were effectively and conscientiously selected and staged. Musically, the series remains true to the story and accompanied with a dynamic soundtrack, in which peaceful and more upbeat pieces alternate.
Of course this time a bye with many famous minor characters, such as the journalist Walter Hildebrand.
Granted, a little strange the story about the time coil acts already since the series so far was characterized by its earthiness, unless such term is at all appropriate for a science-fiction series. With increasing wealth consequence but it is of course more difficult for the series to reinvent itself. Fun this radio play anyway and awakens especially the pleasure of the second part.
