Let Me Sing (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Class music! Just great!

Personally, I was already at Unser Star für Oslo (USFO) a fan of Christian Durstewitz and have since been impatiently waiting on an album - even more so after I then the first single "Stalker" belongs and the music video have seen it.

The 3rd placed the casting show of Stefan Raab - from the Lena Meyer-Landrut emerged victorious and 2010 in Oslo the Euro Vision Song Contest won - is anything but a typical participant in a talent show which again distinguishes Raab auditions. A real type of music from the beginning by his few, self-written songs and successful cover versions enthusiastic blood me, with humor and irony. Sometimes with, sometimes without guitar, sometimes with harmonica and always a likeable guy with a wild mane and a casual outfit.

Now I have finally released his debut album in the player and am thrilled. Many of his numbers have certain gaiety which is totally contagious and really fun.

The album title fits like the proverbial fist on the eye! He is an artist of exactly want: singing. Ever fits the album to Christian Durstewitz: headstrong, crazy (in a good way) and refreshing.

The album:

Fittingly, the album kicks off with its namesake "Let Me Sing". A Keyboard worn intro which is then continued by heavy drums and guitar and me sweeps equal.
This is followed by the upbeat number "Stalker". As a contrast, follows the rock ballad "Amazing Wonder". With "Dying Trying" on "I'm In Love" takes the album then back on pace.
"Do not Trust Your Eyes" and "Another Night" are then melancholy but no less captivating.
The number "I Am" is again more quickly and easily with the cheerful circus-like keyboard parts. Somehow similar and yet different then "Story Of A Dead Man". "Life Engine" is very varied with a choir in the background, and sounds from quiet to me a short break for the even of Limp Bizkit gecoverte, Dursti but particularly successful George Michael Cover "Faith" to treat.
With "The World Cries!" ends the album then unfortunately but really I want to hear even more - oh, I play it easily again from the beginning - and again - and ...

Conclusion:

Christian Durstewitz packed us a colorful variety of musical styles in 12 varied numbers on his first album: From ballads like from USFO known song "Another Night" about the well-known from USFO Cover "Faith", the aforementioned up-tempo number " Stalker "and the electro-tinged" Let Me Sing "to rock songs like" Dying Trying ".
The booklet contains all the lyrics and the usual information. The cover sheet with Christian guitar and is very classy printed in black, red and silver.
A hopeful start of a young artist with my personal album highlights: ". # 1 Let Me Sing" and ". # 8 I Am".

I look forward to more and wish him my first Amazon review - very selfish - good luck.
In this sense: "Let Him Sing" - Lala-La-La
