Let's get N * E * R * D

N * E * R * D, which stands for No One Ever Really Dies. The composition of the group consists of no less than the Neptunes to Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo plus the third N * E * R * D member Shay Haley. Their music can not be classified properly because it incorporated an incredible number of style elements. They call it even though as a funk-rock, but also the Hip Hop and Soul with it are, is unmistakable. Here is the new edition of "In Search Of ..." which was published one year after the original version (2001). The productions were taken completely alone * D N * E * R, as features are, among others, Kelis and Clipse available.
At the very first track hard guitar riffs are mixed with drums and a cool beat, which sounds very great. In raps and sings Pharrell, which is also supported by Lee Harvey and Vita, but which contributes only a small part. Completely different, namely relaxed and funky would be the feel-good track "Things Are Getting Better", which also includes a lot of typical Neptunes-synth sounds. N * E * R * D perform here without foreign assistance, with the star of the group, Pharrell, clearly plays the leading role. The bit rockier, but not too hard, but very rhythmic track drive with the three Brain, which also going quite well. Quite different, namely rather quiet and chill would "Provider", which was released as a single yes. Accompanied by a simple and relaxing guitar sings Pharrell like an old country star - very cool, I must say. More towards Hip Hop goes "Truth Or Dare", one of my favorite songs on the record. Hard and driving beat, about a sinister melody of strings, electric guitars and synthesizers. Nebend Pharrell are also Nas' wife Kelis and Pusha T 50% of clips on the mic and do their job perfectly, and I must say that I like Kelis best. My absolute favorite song from "In Search Of ..." is the love song "Run To The Sun". Very chill, yet groovy and dripping with the Instrumental Funk is a real treat for the ear, especially when used nor the whole electrical elements in the chorus, the whole thing becomes a real ear worm. Also a real Kracher is very futuristic and funky "Am I High", in which the guys have all brought out during production of the bag of tricks. Both very influenced by synthesizers, and equipped with a beautiful piano melody inspired the instrumental from the first until the last second. Pharrell singing, which sounds good, especially in the chorus, but the best thing about the song is the rap part Vonder other Clipse-half Malice. Hit single "Rockstar" came in many very good, the track is a track I do not personally but too hard, which is why I usually quickly cant continue to the next song, the ballad "Bobby James". Really a nice, albeit more dramatic number, where you like to listen to the lyrics and can affect the sounds to be. The same is true for the last song "Stay Together", which, however, is more of a happy love song. On the whole, is actually the rest become very good, hence the rapid "Brain", the relaxed "Tape You" and the rhythmic convince "Baby Doll". For real classics still lacking that certain something, but a top album "In Search Of ..." and therefore always recommended for everyone who tries like something extraordinary music.
