"The best days are numbered" is Savas official remix album of his first album "The best day of my life" and actually a completely new album. New Beatz, new Rhymes and new guest stars, only the song title and a few lines left over from DBTML. Savas sounds sometimes aggressive and shows killer flows en masse !! The Beatz are no longer exclusively of Melbeatz but uavon such illustrious guests as: Azad, Samy Deluxe, Ercandize and KutMasta Kurt what the album certainly is good (but this is no devaluation or criticism of Germany's probably best producer) .The songs are therefore mostly not comparable to the originals and some bombs over the original such as: "Optics Anthem" which offers instead of Eko and Valezka, with SD, Caput and Ercandize and as opposed to DBTML version became much more aggressive ist.Auch "Till from Joe" is no longer playful but become a really aggressive bomb, which was also the gefeaturte Ilmmatic not entirely innocent ist.Kurzum album leaves, scorched earth.
The Mix-Best-Of CD "your best friend" includes a broad overview of Savas create, but for fans of the uncrowned King of Rap is likely to be more or less interesting, because first LMS and Pimplegionär not have it and most of the songs do not are included in full length. There are some exclusive top that but not exactly always are on Savas top level.
Conclusion: "The best days are numbered" is actually a new album whose purchase all worth time and for me, the first highlight of the German rap this year and "Your Best Friend" a nice supplement to the CD, but probably only likely to be of interest to non-connoisseurs of Berlin MC.
