The life could however be quite a bit longer. While the even older standard lamps from various manufacturers remain lit, already several of the 25W / 35W Halogen Eco Müller have adopted to partially not even one year. the 14W to do something more with, but 2 years, so far, none managed (all of toroidal transformers, undimmed).
The price of just over 1 puts the whole again, if you consider that appropriate products of Osram (Decostar Eco) or Philips (EcoHalo) 4-6 costs upwards. Nevertheless, I would have expected a little more.
