When referred to in the technical specification on the color and the plastic cover, you should be noisy - because when it comes knives yes depends on how well they cut. And as you realize just that these knives are attached rather in the lower price segment. But first things first: The blades are very light and fit comfortably in your hand and yes, they also look really cool. But: Because they are very light, they assist the user in cutting up not by their weight (as for example the Fissler knives do). Therefore, they must be particularly sharp (as are, for example, Haiku knife), which they are not well. Therefore, they intersect at best "quite OK" and stiff vegetables or meat you can tell the difference but quite clearly.
When buying knives but you realize very clearly at the quality, in which price range you are traveling. WMFs knives are fairly cheap, but they are also much in terms of quality from the more expensive knives. On the other hand they are better than, say, hardly usable Ikea knives and therefore provide quite an alternative, if you do not want to spend so much money on knife or can. Therefore: Three stars. Frankly, I'm surprised by all the positive reviews. I have compared the knife with a Haiku knife and as I said - no comparison. That sounds like polemics but in fact what came out during the test: My old, now jagged Haiku knife cuts in nearly the same as the WMF knife (and which are new).
