Excellent neighbors (Paperback)

Customer Review

From the beginning, the author leaves us no hope: A massacre awaits us down the road.
Confronted with a fertility problem, after many painful and frustrating attempts Eva and Peter, have finally managed to have a child who unfortunately did not survive.
It is therefore a very morally landscape shot couple in the house originally intended to see their children grow up. Then enter in their lives charming neighbors to comfort, make their resume enjoying life, unveil their new horizons.
But good intentions to force bad decisions, very bad performances, the young couple and their attractive and very liberated neighbors will slip gradually towards the final catastrophe.
In a very sulphurous atmosphere, the situations dramatically connected without possibility of turning back.
This is a real tragedy that pages thread, in a hyper realistic and effective style, Seskia NOOR invites us and we loose more to tragedy.
His introspection of the characters is very strong and of an intensity that is reminiscent of the master Stephen King.
"Excellent neighbors" is more than an exciting thriller: This is a real Greek tragedy.

Two minor complaints, however:
- Some oddities in dialogues with! and? not always wise or even reversed.
- Lots of references to songs and words in English, unfortunately not translated into French .... Pity
