Living room concert on DVD

This set consists of a montage of two performances on 15 and 16 April 2014 in the warehouse Osnabrück on DVD, and a CD with just under 77 minutes running time, the content of which corresponds to that of DVD.
As extras on the DVD is a time-lapse movie of the construction stage, as well as a short TV report.

To abzuhandeln musical short: the concert is great. Sonically, a feast for the ears, great music, 100% Blues Company!
With very large cast, ie Blues Company plus wind plus singers.

But the DVD.

This concert was none in the usual sense, but a "silent concert". Here each spectator has a couple of earbuds, the music is transferred. Anyone can individually adjust the volume and has stereo, no matter where it is located. Since this system has its limits, the number of concertgoers limited (I have heard of a maximum of 100).
The "Warehouse" was redecorated with sofas, rugs and lamps to large living room and the band is in the middle between the guests. The atmosphere is correspondingly "homey" and you can tell even the playfulness of the band; even if the film sometimes gets the impression some people subject only lazy on the sofas around.

Evil is in my opinion the film version.
It is precisely when the space is so cramped and the tape is not in a group at any stage, but is distributed in a decentralized, more care should be given to the placement of cameras in advance.
So it often happens that any of these fuss - guitar necks, microphone stand, lamps - is in the way. And Toscho who as singer and guitarist has now again the central role of BC, is often seen in a long shot, when he disappears far right almost out of the picture, in the middle of a dark "hole" and left the swinging singers. No, that's unprofessional. And I would like to see the solo soloist and not any other band member.
The interspersed "Handycam" Smartphone recording may indeed be due to the zeitgeist, but they seem to randomly smashed and are sometimes disturbing. Too Bad.

It remains as a conclusion a recording of a great concert, in which I would certainly like to be there, and a DVD that it technically does not create this visually implement adequately.
