I Live for Speed gambled and then inserted a long break for many years. With Assetto Corsa my Sim-Racing passion was rekindled. My G27 I had already been sold years ago, was still in the basement my old Driving Force Pro. But I had to have something new. If you drove a G27 long time, so provides a DFP no longer satisfied!
By T500RS makes Assetto Corsa even more fun than with my old Driving Force Pro. I drive with 450 degree steering angle, for drifting I ask sometimes like 900 degrees. But I do not want to slow drift around the course, but driving on the limit. Since I find the perfect 450 degrees!
The T500RS is my 1st steering wheel with belt drive. The Logitech Wheels have all gears! Much better to steer smoother! The force feedback is great, no comparison to the old Logitech. ;) The FF-engine makes its reputation. Madness which force has the Wheel! Has not for nothing ne 16+ age recommendation. ;) No wonder the Thrustmaster puts an industrial motor Buhler. The costs almost 100. In the Logitech and Fanatec Wheels are only cheap 5 Mabuchi motors.
The new pedals I tu me easily even during braking. Very clear pressure point, and finally some resistance when braking! :) In addition, the pedals are very flexible adjustable, also hanging / standing mountable! Class Thrustmaster. :)
That was with the other steering wheels a joke, especially in the formula cars in Assetto Corsa I constantly braked too hard, so that I had standing wheels. Since you have a lot of feeling used under braking. Just at the limit of a nuisance! Now no longer a problem. This is so much fun, I also kanns not tell.
I am using the T500RS straightaway faster and constant traveling in Assetto Corsa. With the best Wheel that I had, the G27 was already great, but that is T500RS imho ne significantly different league.
Only alone the fixed paddles are a bit strange. The fan is also audible, but I take the headset, so I can not hear anything. But could disturb some.
On the whole, the best Wheel that I've ever had! Buy recommendation !!!
