The single "Fireflies" was both in the US and UK No1. What the US is really ausgewöhnlich especially because it is the song one hand without any airplay (which there strong flows into the charts) only via download has made it to the top position - and on the other hand, so not the US mainstream corresponds (both in terms of musical genre is concerned, as well as the high quality)
Also off of Fireflies (which is a real hit in the rest of Europe now), this album countless real sound pearls. Where the term "electronic music" really is not true, the songs live mainly of damn good songwriting and partially really brilliant texts (please times listen carefully). I think since Alanis Morissette has no one laid more so creative texts in the English-speaking world. Overall, the album exudes an incredible innocence and positive mood - but without even once drifting into kitschy or cliched. The Limited Edition also contains some songs that so far have been published only in the US.
It should be noted, perhaps more that Adam Young all songs wrote, produced and which records itself - a real all-rounder up. And much better than anyone else who are currently in mainstream gonna wind.
For me one of the best albums of the last few years - and a real surprise in today's thread Mainstreameinheitsbrei. Perhaps the Internet is still to save the music industry, if more artists ala Adam Young -the without this medium probably never get a record deal hätten- can publish their music.
