The connection to both iMac and iPhone worked fine via Bluetooth, cable connection I have not tested.
That the beats are set bass emphasized is nothing new and generally known, no one of classical music listening will ever deal with the products of Dr. Dre, I find if one has the bass down turn means equalizer a little here a very good sounding headphones before him, and those who will be on bass definitely satisfied!
In weight, the beats keep despite built-in battery tolerable limits (approximately 260 g), the ears are well enclosed, not to say of the soft ear pads caresses, and otherwise they are a bit uncomfortable after a few hours, but believable I in each earpiece is so.
The first star deduction there for the price, which is set very high in my opinion, although the beats are look cheap in the matte finish in titanium in any way or processed. I only have therefore ordered him because Amazon has offered him a lot cheaper for a few days.
The second star deduction and at the same time also the reason why I'm not going to keep the beats concerns the so-called "Adaptive Noise Cancelling": it is to filter out noise around undisturbed for private listening at normal volume. So far so good, the major drawback of this technology is unfortunately the fact that in quiet passages or pauses between songs or pauses in films an unpleasant noise ears penetrates which is not tolerable for me. I need a headset mainly at home and not hear only through music, search, for example, on iTunes or YouTube, and while searching to be repeatedly harassed by a "Dauergerausche" is not acceptable for me.
I do not know if it is because of the technology itself or specifically to the Beats, who travels a lot, for example, bus or train for the ANC is certainly a good thing and the noise is then perhaps not interfere so much, for home use I find it unnecessary, however, and since it can not go back unfortunately off the headphones.
Conclusion: who can live with the price and the noise of the ANC (naturally feels any different, that bothers me enormously's), gets a top headphones to boot looks extremely cool ;-)
