1. Housing:
+ The case looks stable.
+ Place it in many is with plastic imitating brushed aluminum. This affects quality than it sounds and fingerprints are not a problem.
+ The weight is pleasant and since the notebook without an optical drive arrives it looks also quite slim.
- Times have googled and read hardware Reparier manuals to find out how easy it would be to replace components. For example, the HD has to be built quite a bit apart to be replaced by a SSD. That's not for the layman and a Thinkpad dissolved significantly more pleasant.
+ After all, there is such a thing as hardware manuals with detailed lists which spare parts are available.
All in all not the Thinkpad or Macbook quality and feel - but good enough, it is all the time.
2. Display
+ The Full HD resolution fits the size.
+ There is an IPS panel and blink angle stability is compared to the usual in this price range TN panels very well.
+ There is a touch screen - and that works so well, that I need actually click the touchpad only occasionally to the right.
- Halos in the bottom corners.
- Mirror.
There are certainly better displays, but for a budget notebook, the built-in display is excellent and would be noticed in a pleasant middle-class notebook, in my opinion, the display is the point with the shines of this notebook.
3. Performance
+ - Actually corresponds to the expectations raised the price. The CPU and the graphics card are acceptable. The HDD may be a little faster.
+ The notebook not inaudible but very quietly and remains quiet under load. If you want to, for example Amazon Prime Instant Watch videos on the TV, the volume of the notebook is quiet enough.
Keyboard / touchpad:
+ Right decent keyboard and touchpad. The touchpad is installed at a slight angle. I've only now realized, as I had seen it. Thus falls not on really. The function is not impaired.
Software:
+ Windows 8.1
- With bloat.
- No Recovery Media buildable
Conclusion:
A low-cost budget convertible notebook with
+ Very good display
* Average power
- Poor maintainability / extensibility.
I have seen and used even better notebooks. But certainly not at this price. For the price, the notebook in all respects has more than you can erwaten that is especially true for the display.
