The EOS M came last year to about 750 euros on the market and was deficiency USPs and mediocre reviews because of the slow AF not a great success. This led to a massive fall in prices, beginning in June 2013 was the kit with flash for super cheap 370 euros to get. Back to the subject: For only 50 Euro more then taken a EOS M compared to the S110. Large sensor (the same as in the Canon 18 MP APS-C SLR's) and corresponding image quality, good stabilized kit lens, functional touchscreen operation and finally a really stable and valent housing.
Will have to buy me the 22mm Pancacke, then the camera is only slightly larger than the S110 but much more flexible. Sometime still be able to use the EF adapter for my glasses 7D.
Most likely there will be an EOS M II in the fall; it will be exciting to see whether the AF wird- be built the 700D the marketing strategists are the functional distance can not be too small.
Conclusion: I'm happy with the small M, makes good pictures. The slower autofocus and built-in flash does not not bother me. We will see what brings the new firmware.

Please note that the firmware is 2 since yesterday available for download at Canon, the auto focus has become faster, as well as the camera on the new EF-M 11-22mm was prepared.
