Luda's third album!

Chicken and Beer (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Yes, I was quite excited about this album. Finally, could Ludacris with his two recent albums pretty
convince!
Yes, the third album from Luacris is the worst of his 3 albums so far. It limps back for the first time (my pers. Favorite !!!) and Word of Mouf clear afterwards. The album is not bad but of a Ludacris one can certainly expect more. Especially after the strong songs beidern Act A Fool and Stand Up.
But the album maintains the level of Act A Fool and still not up.
Many of the tracks are more than average.
The worst tracks for me are the boring Hard Times (featuring 8Ball & MJG and Carl Thomas), or even in my Hoes room.Snoop Dogg untersützt Luda on this song, this track will not be better also. Splash Waterfalls, Hip Hop Quotables or Diamond in the back are also nurch the average score !!
On the album a killer song is missing, such as What's your fantasy (on the back for the First Time Album) or roll (Word of Mouf) The best pieces are the single release Stand Up, Blow it out or Screwed Up for me. Other good songs are still We got, p-Poppin or Brown Eyes down.
Guest has invited some Ludacris. Snoop Dogg, the new Down South Star Lil Flip, 8Ball & MJG and of course the whole DTP Department.
In this album Ludacris has not worked with House producer Shondrae but has less known people a chance gebgeben (eg DJ Nasty)
Among the better-known producers include Erick Sermon (Hip Hop Quatables), DJ Paul and Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia, or even Kanye West (Stand Up). But only Kanye West can convince. DJ Paul and Juicy deliver with diamond in the back from the most probable worst beat of her career. When We got they can convince reasonably again. Erick Sermon's contribution can not convince. The other producers: Black Key (produced already for DMX hammer Track Who We Be) Ron Browz, or also the former No Limit Producer Mo B Dick (now named Ruh Anubis Yazit go) do their job quite well. The beats of DJ Nasty or Icedrake fall there but from pretty.
I give the album 3 stars! From a 1A rappers like Ludacris can clearly expect more. All in all, not a bad album but the one real Burner missing! Down South junkies or Luda fans should reinziehen this album definitely! For all others: Pre-listening !!
