In this sad time about the thought and debate of ideas, we must ABSOLUTELY read Soral. I have long heard the sirens of self-righteousness that showed me Alain Soral as "a vile fascist beast, turncoat of the PCF and feeds the most primary anti-Semitism" and so I refused to read this author cursed. Then, facing the passions unleashed this author, I decided to see for myself what it was and I read the reissue of his two novels. What a slap, what talent, what writing ... So yes, Soral is disillusioned, his novels are black because it no longer believes in the future of our country plagued by its communalism and slowly sinking in an intellectual whose softness can not expect anything. Yes, it is uncompromising for endangered system that honnit. Yes, he does not expect anything good of intellectuals which he considers they are quicker to go to the soup power and media to explain the system to combat abuses or suggest alternatives. And if Soral is improper, he has a talent and a fair analysis. It is courageous, useful and essential.
