So the disappointment was great. Thankfully, this was not my first Manson CD, otherwise I might have become not a fan of his music. This does not mean that it is bad, but that simply drinsteckt not working. There are three real songs ("Sweet Dreams", "I Put A Spell On You", "Rock'n'Roll Nigger"), which are all covers, the rest are remixes or Something. The only excuse I'll accept that Smells Like Children is an EP to its predecessor, and it does not it creates to be a perfect music album. Nevertheless: A little more effort would have the fans can expect already. Three stars anyway because there are quite great pieces (the covers, as well as "Dance of the dope hats"). The "Dope Hat" is squeezed mercilessly anyway, other, great songs from "Portrait of an American Family" are, however, forgotten. Really not a prominent masterpiece and also nix for "beginners", but a treat for Manson fans who know his remaining plates already.
