Many meaningful improvements - just one problem with feigned White balance

I have the camera now for about 3 months, and Scan much on vacation, Moto bike tours, hiking, long-distance travel.
I am also doing professional images for sale (light tent, macro).

Previously I had the G1, so over several generations Lumix snakes.

So here are my impressions compared to the previous G1. As an alternative I had pulled the GH3 shortlisted, and the
Olympus OM-D ... a change in the system was out of the question because of existing lenses, classic SLRs are me for the trip anyway too heavy,
and compact entry-level models probably always inferior to the MFT system. And on the electronic viewfinder, I do not want to do without, even
if SLR fans might rave about the optical viewfinder, I find grid lines, level, history recognition and an image that the
Result on the memory card conforms, and not the ideal optical better.

Why not GH3 .. on money alone, it would not have failed, but I found that the G6 is the more modern camera, except for the
Waterproof (splashproof what my objectives are unfortunately not), so why spend so much more?

The Olympus should provide any worse but also no better results after test reports, but I am missing features like GPS integration,
and the pivoting in only one axis display is for me (as with Sony) actually already a no-go

But to my impressions of the G6:

Acclimatization: .. as I said, roll over several generations Lumix,
but the incorporation becomes intuitive quickly, manual hardly necessary.

Image quality: .. I was with the 12 Mpix satisfied,
Also for large screen prints that are 4 Mpix more anyway no reason to buy, but "nice to have", especially when it is not connected to more noise, as before in many cameras with mini sensor .. More important is the sensitivity, estimated conservatively and without Pixelcounting :
I can go 1-2 Exposure levels higher, ie ASA 400 means almost no noise, 800 is still good to use,
1600 was clearly noisy, but still vastly superior to any smartphone photo.
JPGs are more than useful for my needs I'll hardly jemanls access to RAW, anyway, I think that you as an amateur
rather what "verschlimmbessern" can.

Speed: Genial .. .. the most important improvement: the fast autofocus can, for me nothing to be desired.

Features: Video I have not used (only once tried)
Powerzoom I did not (and need not) .. the key for this is configurable ... and standard set to Exposure Compensation .. watch out!

New WIFI is what I intensively use for GPS data with the smartphone, is working properly, does not burden the battery of the camera, daber
for the smartphone .. because it is better to switch to 30 seconds or 1 minute, if you want to record (eg a hike) all day. 1 sec interval would be lethal for the cell phone battery.

New and Top: The spirit level (2 Dimensional) I almost always turn on.

Also Top: Peaking function for manual focusing,
a real plus when using good old lenses without autofocus

Frills: the many fully automatic programs! I mean the intelligent automatic iA sufficient if I (1% of images) no time for me to set something and for the clippers of plans to hire anything. But then also not dozens subroutines with Bilderkarusellen need .. as you could ever equal times to deal with the matter and choose speed and aperture yourself. Irony .. anyway, I do not know,
if there are many buyers who need something, and then buy a system camera ..

Touch screen: good sensitivity, and trigger Focussieren I use rarely.

Eye Sensor: as with the previous models: just uncheck!
Display on = viewfinder display on display = .. and the display does not go
Continuously off, if too close to the viewfinder comes with clothing, fingers, etc.

Ergonomics: as I said, weight plays a big role for me, the feel
is good and high quality, the workmanship is very good .. just a problem I always had
: the keys are very smooth, and especially the far right (ring button), the
is responsible for WB (white balance). I've adjusted regularly and if you
not careful, a few pictures set incorrectly.
The WiFi button is pressed times accidentally, which can cost valuable seconds because
you can undo this by either pressing the button or by
Trigger operation.
A real nuisance that I have now solved by simply an ugly plastic plates
have attached with superglue rear right.
Actually unacceptable, but deducted a star, I still can not, because otherwise I'm really 100% happy
