Masterpiece part 1

The album was already one day before the official release date in my mailbox!

But now the album:

After "Stone Sour", "Come What (ever) May" and "Audio Secrecy" now comes with "House of Gold and Bones Part 1" the fourth album by Corey Taylor (including lead singer of Slipknot) & Co to our home !

For CD - "envelope":

As the saying goes: "First impressions count"! And this impression is due to the extremely lovingly designed CD - "envelope" First of all, extremely positive. The CD - "envelope" is iszeniert consuming, for example, by clicking elements and a small booklet that a bedtime story told to "House of Gold and Bones Part 1". This is indeed nowadays no longer commonplace (see Pappschuber of Tenacious D or Foo Fighters)!

Album:
As always, it has been possible to find an ideal mix of Stone Sour rock ballads and metal riffs. The both dominated the voice of Corey Taylor in perfection, both showed the last 3 Stone Sour albums, as well as the last Slipknot albums. Corey's unique voice and the perfect exploitation of James Root & Co unequaled and also explains their success!

Generally I find the album as something "harder" than its predecessor, which only enhances the album! But do not worry, it is much more than singing "gescreamt"!
I would like to emphasize that the band throughout the album "loyal" and is really trying to tell a story that I have rarely seen in this perfection (music, booklet, envelope, etc.) !!!!!!!!

Anspieltips / Highlights of the album are "Tired" and "Absolute Zero"!

"Tired" has absolute hit - potential! Extremely catchy chorus and melody! An insane rock ballad and one of the best Stone Sour - Songs Ever!

"Absolute Zero", however, is a little harder; but musically second to none! The sound of this song is so unique that it remains in the memory one immediately! An equally catchy chorus and an interim guitar solo round off this song and make in to perhaps best song by Stone Sour!

Conclusion: Absolute buy recommendation for all who are on real Hard Rock! Of the recent four Stone SOURCEUSEREXIT albums, in my view this the best yet! I am looking forward immensely to the second part of the "House of Gold and Bones" - series, which is indeed hold 12 songs loud band and to appear even in 2013 !!
