A wonderful drive this first pure Martin Gore Depeche Mode album. May it compositionally something sound easy even almost 25 years after its release, so the melodies are still deep and soulful and mature the texts especially for the then only 20-year-old Gore and go with the often gloomy sounds a wonderful mix a. Many newer fans will find this album though rather boring, but who wants to spend a cozy evening on the sofa and / or front of the fireplace, can find a great soundtrack. In addition, the album is always an important milestone for the way for the band and songs like "Leave in Silence", "See you" and "The Sun & The Rainfall" true classics!
