This book is really well done. At once funny, nostalgic, his comments actually remind us of good times. Nostalgia is not necessarily outdated or avoid; one can remember objects we use, we have struggled to operate, to provide (some at their "issue" were not really affordable). And still others remind us of our parents (for example, I bought the famous "velvet phone case" mine, now deceased) as anything from simple everyday objects, some that make you laugh by their lack of originality, their side "not practical" (fixed telephone that forces us to stay put!), their unsightly appearance, are part of our lives and can become our "Proust's madeleine." Ariel thank you, this is really great, both super-documented, dandy, and so imaginative, and yet he "feels" what is good for us!
