The adventures of our heroine begins after the episode "Super Metroid" on Super Nintendo. The first minutes of the game is devoted to the development of the plot via several cutscenes.
As in all "Metroid" games, Samus's abilities are unlocked throughout the adventure. These are an ease-of-use. Indeed, it is surprising how well we manage to get out of a situation that was totally hopeless. All this is thanks to an almost perfect handling, Nintendo requires. Yet the use of the wiimote horizontally to such a game was a risky bet, but nonetheless.
Although this new episode continues the original frame, it changes the previous series of codes: the trilogy "Metroid Prime" (signed "Retro Studio"). Indeed, this saga has changed the game 2D side scrolling in a 3D game type action-adventure in the first person. All this to say that "Metroid: Other M" is actually a mixture of the two sagas. Hold the Wiimote horizontally, directing Samus in 3D scenery while having 2D camera shots. Furthermore, by aiming the TV screen with the remote control, you pass in first person to target enemies.
Finally, side graphics, this game is doing wonderfully. Indeed, textures and special effects, through cut scenes in computer graphics, everything is an amazing level of detail.
Even if it is not put into the hands of anyone (PEGI +16), "Metroid: Other M" is undoubtedly one of the best Wii games.
