Clear disadvantages are:
- The inability to steer with the directional pad (the analog stick requires some finesse and not everyone has a gaming steering wheel), especially Gran Turismo has proven that steer with the directional pad is perfectly feasible. Basically, the game developers should pay more attention to the playability of the pad and not always swarm just before the publication of it again, that their new masterpiece like "real driving" would. A game must now time insist on the mass market, and most go without steering wheel in front of the TV.
- Detailed weaknesses, such as the Nordschleife, which seems less authentic compared to GT4-version (remember the asphalt paintings in GT4!)
- You too fast has a lot of money and you thus never has the feeling that they really have to work out a tuning element (other than the very beginning of the very first car). In this regard, the scene new approaches need time because at this point of criticism actually suffer all racers.
- The lack of transparency, how much the AI will be in a race. By that I mean: If you select a slow car, then the opponents are slower. Assuming even a highly bred racing machine, then the AI opponents have appropriate car. Since the choice of the right car falls sometimes difficult and it's already happened to me that I have easily won a race with a mediocre 250-horsepower Audi as the 900-horsepower Lambo, since this is accordingly more prone to error ... (and collisions happen more often against these KI) Personally, I'm not a big fan of the elastic effects, both forwards and backwards, with a degree is quite funny if it ensures thrilling duels.
I welcome the long-term motivation (you can sit for a while with all the medals and asterisk insebsondere the "clean race" have it MMN in itself.) Just the right game to every few days one hour (or two) in order to spend and distract himself.
For keyword Simulation: The options allow sufficiently difficult to make the game unplayable and when "Auto racing is" too easy, we would all but F1 world champion, right? ;-)
