Modern MMO, revives the old times

On a forum I heard of Rift and wanted to catch up Ledegem the website, a few videos and information. A course interested in what others discuss so hot ... but then jumped the spark when I open beta reading. In the Open Beta, I made me a view of the world of Rift. Telara. And was not disappointed ...
Now Playing diligently since Head Start. The game lets me go no more and ties one to the screen as it formerly managed only another game to start (can any thinking * wink *).

My character is currently on Level 35 and I play a mage as a Necromancer. As info. But now to my impression.
What can be imagined under Rift?
Only once startled me the English name from something. Rift means yes plan. And that's the point in this MMO. The world was protected Telara once before another plane dimensions (death, life, fire, water, earth, wind) by a magical shield. The gods of these dimensions to the world of Telara wanted to make use of and found ways to penetrate them, to spread chaos, death and destruction. Until the gods were once imprisoned. Now to the actual game

- Graphics
Really great graphics in my opinion. It also has many options. However, the system requirements should not be undershot. The game is challenging because of the graphics in terms of PC systems!
Many things, especially undead act, so realistically, I was blown away. And I admit ... I've got a the time or another even frightened. * Red is *

- Support and Customer Service
I have to pack up there with pure times now. Simple reason ... Trion, the developers of Rift, actually cater to customer requirements! I thought such games there is no longer, but in fact, as many have been complaining on the official forums, or have expressed important desires, Trion has responded very quickly. - The World Telara
The World Telara is very diverse. Each of me so far discovered area was different and really captivated me after some time! At first I thought not ... well ... looks like almost every MMO until then came the next areas and especially the Dämmerwald pulled me so such a strong spell.

- Dynamic Game World
Enduring something happens in Telara! And without the help of players the world will be destroyed and taken over. Say, it is announced no stupid quests, but you have to help in the Rifts invasions or close in open rifts and help with this. - Open Groups
Every time you or a Rift invasion approaches, you get up on the screen a display that you can join a public group. This means all close automatically to a kind giant raid together to combat the invaders. It eliminates the long Wanted to groups and you can draw directly in the struggle.
If you do not accidentally wants to open a group, can provide its status from public to private, and is therefore not used to group opening when others are nearby. One can confidently move on without taking part in the battle.

- The Classes
There are only 4 different classes. So you need not play high on the 10 characters but 4 are fully sufficient to cover all of the roles.
The classes are: Cleric, Warrior, Mage, Rogue

- The souls
Something slipped far down, but very very positive: Souls. Others, not yet Rift players are, know this as a skill trees. I have seen such a wide selection of souls or skill trees in anyone yet MMO. You can use at a time each getting 3 souls. Example: Necromancer, Warlock, Pyromancer. These three souls you skillt whichever you need most and how the souls among themselves best complement. Nevertheless, after having up to 10 trained souls that can be put together from scratch the teacher. So may be or support the group with important buffs from the magician who had just only dispenser even a pretty good support healer. The cleric had just been refueling and can now fully satisfying healing etc. There are so many possibilities in use Rift souls. But here I also recommend to look at the Rift homepage because there exists a much better overview. If the class teachers, the teacher gives advice which souls are best suited to each other. Absolute plus point, especially for newbies.

- Levels rise
The step increase can be seen negatively or positively. For me it is positive. You can level up fairly quickly, which casts no frustration. One can the world enjoy in peace and not have to rush to keep other with. The maximum level is currently level 50th

- Instances
In each area I came so far endgegen a new instance. And the great ... a sense of some other MMO came on, which was botched but now more and more for a few years. Of course, one or the other impatient looking the net for how the boss sets the and. But some bosses we had often rum taste until we really know what the boss is doing and we can avoid that. Normal instances are challenging when one considers itself (and not to reads) and a great feeling coming together because each is important in its role. - Dyeing armor, costumes and wardrobe
You can dye his armor in the game. Pharmacist (profession) can also produce very great own colors so not there to buy. There are also costumes, without values, but with truly great designs that can be used for the wardrobe slots. Look out the way you want it!

- Professions
The professions have skillen quite well. One can find in each area enough material to really get his job to the next stage. So the annoying farms is eliminated. Only the collector struck me so far is negative on, but this can be because the areas were just überfarmt for Head Start. In the professions teachers per se informative information was given, what professions fit best with each other. Absolute plus point! There are three gathering professions and 4-6 main occupations (hab grad not all in your head. Tippe the degree simply spontaneously down). Including at least Outfitter (fabric and leather processors for armor), armorers (chain and plate armor), armourers for various weapons Runecrafting (Enchanter), pharmacists (potions, colors, etc.).

- The theme PvP
One issue on which perhaps many have been waiting for. The theme PvP. I can only say ... PvP souls and PvE souls are separated! Finally it has a MMO managed to take this important step and the classes not to muck up after a while. On the official website you can read the PvP and PvE classes einzelnd by subclasses. At present, of course, not everything is perfectly balanced in PvP, but one can safely say ... PvE is at least no influence when something is pushed or nerfed. Absolutely great in my eyes!

- The Interface
Now may the one or the other screaming, Rift had stolen. That everyone likes to see how he wants. I think Rift did Ledegem what is good as a single. They took familiar things and perfected this. So also with the interface. You can move and resize the interface as desired. At the sight of the interface actually it is strongly reminiscent of another, longstanding MMO, which is now out of breath. But that's what I felt personally very positive! I did not have to search long handle, the interface seemed familiar and yet new things were there which are absolutely positive, as for example the stop move the individual elements. You can also press a small button to the left of the action bar to open a lock to quickly move spells and abilities. Click one again, the lock closes again and the interface is laid back.
Also the Chat got Many renowned features. Likewise armor previews. Although much is new, therefore some MMO fans will feel at home.

- RPG
There are RPG Server! So role players will get their money.

- Server stability
Of course, it came to the Head Start early to long queues. But Trion has heard quickly to the outcry of the customer and as fast it went new server provided. Nevertheless, you have a lump sum to say I have not experienced MMO, which as time server was up and had been waiting for this so quickly. It came in between to bugfix patches (very positive, how quickly Trion, if that is not true), and the servers were usually only 30min away.

- Bugs
I have not played a MMO which bug-free so runs. All in all the game in my opinion is surprisingly bug-free.

What in my opinion is still missing:
Now the things that in my opinion are still missing in order to make the perfect MMO Rift. However, I must say directly before ... at this customer near Trion I see absolutely no doubts that they will give us these things, when the first stress with minor bugs and the servers have been fixed. The following things I found in another MMO insanely well implemented and I hope that we will eventually be allowed to benefit from Rift players.

- Sitting on chairs and benches
Another function which especially role players called big shortcoming. There is still no official function, how to take on chairs and benches. Only the sit command / is currently the idea, but should not be considered normal.

- Hairdresser
Tastes and characters change over time. It would be great if Trion would still ask a hairdresser or barber are available.

- Housing
Housing I would more than welcome.

If these few points are still realized is the new Rift MMO for me. Although I already see now no longer in other MMOs back and Rift has absolutely convinced me to stay, but consider the functions will be introduced it would be for me the perfect MMO. That everyone likes to see different but so had the game to me.
