Customer Review

No doubt this is Journeys boldest work long. Instead, the success of "Revelation" easy to copy, it leaves the band with songs monumental big blast. From "City Of Hope" to Instumental "Venus" the record sounds as a unified whole. Most titles are again written by early / Cain. It mainly dominated Neal Schons guitar that sounds so close and in energetic riffs, how long no longer. Arnel Pineda, who himself co-wrote two tracks, no longer just as a Steve Perry clone sounds, but singing on songs like "Edge Of The Moment" or "Chain Of Love" the hell out of them. Although Journey still sound like Journey, surprise the listener with unexpected choruses or phrases. Many songs crack thereby loose the 6-minute mark. Jonathan Cain's keyboards fight audible against the solos by Neal Schon and before hanging up too much icing on the ballad "Tantra" Cains keyboard, is already rocked tidy. "Resonate" and the single "City Of Hope" are already at the first glance on the catchiest. On the groovy "Human Feel" nailed Jonathan Cain's organ neatly in the background, while "She's A Mystery" sometimes loud enough to hear an acoustic guitar. Dramaturgy, sound and text. Simply right here almost everything has been heard even if the end of one or the other song ever somehow, since a bit more variety, or one, two titles have less gutgetan the album. However, I also definitely recommend "Eclipse". The best the proposal of the band follow: take your time, turn on boxing and by listening to the CD in one go ...
