In fire (Ladder 49) (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Who hopes that the CD a symphonic-orchestral Flashback to the movie, will be a little disappointed. "True" is film music as he heard as the soundtrack of the film Fire Department "Backdraft" is on the CD as well as unrepresented. All relevant elements are zusammgepfercht in a composition (in the last track, "Call to Courage") although this does not occur so coherently in the film. For so immersed pretty much every pop / rock song that was even remotely touched in the film, a track even not derived from the movie. This is mainly to well-known songs from the Preserve. The title song "Shine your light" by Robbie Robertson has been specially composed for the film - in my opinion, absolutely first class and the film appropriately. Also very nice: The "Reflection-Adagio" that Robertson has written on the subject of its title song. Conclusion: If you like the way the songs in the film, can safely buy this CD. Fans of classic film music will be rather disappointed.
