Solid film music! For Walt Disney certainly worthy!

Alan Menken is an excellent composer of film songs. The music for "Pocahontas", "Arielle" or even many other films is top notch. But this is not at "Hercules" the case. Certainly Alan Menken wrote proper songs and I must add that I am impressed with how it Menken always manages to make the right atmosphere. Personally, I have the problem that the soundtrack consists of only pop songs that are not me personally. The combination with classical approaches, the Menken commonly used are of better quality. in "Enchanted" he has managed it for example, perfectly.

Nevertheless, the sung music is very solid and a role model for every musical. Alan Menken is one of the last composers who still dominate, even to write such music.

To score I can tell nothing good. It is very simple and comes across as if it were produced 0-8-15. Mainly quoted the composer only familiar themes of the songs. This should also give reasons why this soundtrack I forgive 4 stars. I guess really Menken and will always remain a fan of him.
