Music for the heart and soul

Actually I wanted to make this review otherwise. But what can I say about this album, what was not said in the trade press and in numerous other reviews?
Attention I was on The National only on the occasion of the publication of the new I am Kloot album. Bought me then times 'High Violet' and was completely convinced after the first run. Here is a hot contender is present on the album of the year. A lot better than I British counterpart I am Kloot. Why each song take apart now? The album is a single pearl of songwriting. Here sound old 80s heroes by (The Jesus and the Mary Chain) as I sometimes said to recognize Death in June. But that's profound. Songs like 'Afraid of' need no explanation more. Only the thing is approached quietly and then will be a dance number out of it. Really strong. The whole album seems so fragile and yet has more strengths than you could see it after the first hearing. This deep voice carried by the partial spartan instrumentation exerts a pull. That argument can not deprive you look. And who is the most popular music weary, will find it here.
That's music to lay on the couch, dreaming eyes and repeatedly hear the CD. This is not music to the way to do the housework.
That's just unheard of good music.
