The film "Perfume" in my opinion is a complete mockery of this artwork, so its incredible language do not come over (even in translation) and his deeply disturbing character.

The main character of this book combines "good" and "bad" at the same time. He seems to be completely separated from humanity. Almost autistic he comes. It lacks a basic concept of life and sees his only action is to be a manufacturer of fragrances. In it, he is an absolute artist. He kills, not out of wickedness out, but almost from an act of liberation, like an offering. In it, he is far more terrible than any serial killer or other artificial "evil" character. The history and this incredibly absurd life leaves a deep concern that takes a long time to forget, after the novel is closed and was shelved. Very sustainable.
