Currently I have a Fuji X-E2 with some lenses.
At this I was looking for a more compact alternative.
The X20 I had tried. However, I was then but so some missing (folding screen, EVF, better video).
Property me then for the time being chosen a Sony RX100.
Well, the picture quality is seen in comparison with the X30 objectively better (resolution, ISO).
Subjectively, the images of the X30 but much nicer (color, naturalness, dynamics).
So who is looking for pixels that should rather resort to Sony; I would not recommend it though.
When it comes to the operation, can hold a candle to any other compact camera of X30.
You simply dominated every situation. Whether in automatic mode or fully manual.
About the details already much has been written, so I will not even go into it.
Instead, I'll upload a few sample images.
In any case, there is a strong buy recommendation from me !!!
With the slight disadvantage in the Image Quality (resolution, ISO) I can live very well.
And if you do not want the same print posters and this is negligible.
