My Frieda "- because of entry model!

25 years ago I sat as a skilled worker clothing behind an industrial sewing machine. That part was a real iron monsters. She dominated only one thing: namely, straight stitch - necessary even corrugated iron ;-)
... But she did perfectly. She was fast and indestructible ...
After I had retrained, I still got a little pleasure now and then, to indulge the skilled crafts. However, every attempt ended in disaster regularly. For me it was always a horror to this toy machine to work. "Since I do not amused by the fact that modern high-tech machines dominate 200 different programs. Because if I'm honest, I do not need all this frippery. Creativity when sewing starts at I put in the head and is cut or Stoffmix - but not by any stitching - and or programs (which, just boring to be with the time, no matter how many there are).
So I was somehow always looking for an honest, robust machine, however that dominates its main task perfectly: namely sewing.
With a friend, it finally came into contact with W6 N 1615 (ulkiger name - sounds somehow after the big brother of R2D2 from the Star Wars movies * wink *) - and what can I say. I was surprised: you actually sewed quite fast and nothing rattled or wiggled. With 10 years warranty and this price you can not go wrong nothing, I thought, and so came Frieda "(as I call W6 1615 N lovingly) to the house.
Yesterday ordered and delivered today - so I love that after a brief reading of the manual it went straight to the test.. The menu - clearly - is manageable in this purist model, but handling all the more easier. Where nothing is off nothing can go wrong: Nothing stuck, verhuddelte, broke off or was too complicated.
Many buyers complain here that the machine starts running too fast. I do not feel that way. So for me it could be a little faster, in fact, because I'm used otherwise. In addition, Frieda can control very willingly with the pedal. I had from the beginning, not the slightest problem with it.
Frieda is everything I need and even a little bit more: you curl, staples, puts down a reasonable lingerie and decorative stitch, quilting can buttonholes, Whipping, invisible line and embroider (with a little skill) even applications. But most of all she sews with good Nutznaht image thin fabric, thick fabric, stretchy fabric (all in combination), silk, lace, denim, corduroy! ... And what makes it so quick that you can not fall asleep behind - or having to worry about that one, when `s time to go faster - or slightly thicker comes equal to the items flying around your ears.
Frieda "will now take a several months test run with me and if they hold out then I'll grow me her big brother: the W6 N 454D to Frieda (and me) to relieve some.

Conclusion: unnecessary and expensive bells and whistles (the sewing machines makes them extremely susceptible to faults) I do not need to sew what I want: from light curtains through playful Shabby Hearts through to plush coat or high-quality costume ...
