I do not know where to start to swarm !? Although the volumes tell the story continuously to Cinder, Kai, Levana and co., But come with every book added new main protagonists and thus completely new aspects and perspectives. The individual main characters are very individually and with love, and have now found their place in my heart. That is why the protagonists change me also did not bother, as initially believed, but the story kept exciting and very complex because each character their own personal part contributes to the whole.
In Cinder, as well as in the other bands, there is then, of course, a little romance, which is simply a must: 3
But these are rather trivial and sweeten only here and there the otherwise rather serious matters with which the protagonists have to wrangle. But never goes the little spark of humor lost, which is also the story of a little loosens.
And the story .. * - * .. you can tell just from beginning to end that the author made up a lot of thought and carefully thought through every little detail has. Nothing is mentioned without a deeper meaning, but sooner or later still plays an important role. This thorough planning of relationships and events I liked particularly well.
In addition, she has managed to amaze me again and again with new twists and turns, what else never happened, since I find what is happening but usually quite predictable in most other books to me.
At Cinder you can even think a lot in advance, but most of all in the next two parts is always just when I thought I would have the overview, came something unexpected to light what again thrown all my ideas into disarray has.
With the events and feelings, it is quite an ebb and flow, the story has captivated me and very taken. At one point I even had a little cry: '(
My conclusion: Even if it is fairy tale New counts, you have to do it at Cinder, and Scarlet Cress with a really great, imaginative and unique adventure that is never boring and I grieve now coming to an end.
If you like fantasy, science fiction or fairy tales should definitely read Cinder !!!
And I'm now eagerly awaiting part 4, which unfortunately in 2015 comes out DX
