The contents of the pot is to spout at about 970 ml. The liter is therefore not fully achieved. Bearing in mind that the coffee also consumed volume and the procedure is as given in the description and fill the pot only about 2/3, thus leaving only about 600 ml of coffee. I manage myself so that I umfülle the coffee into a thermos jug, the "extra" strong coffee auffülle with boiling water (once a shake) and already I have a liter of strong coffee.
The wrong Füllangabe leads to a star devaluation.

The lid is double-walled and hollow. The guide rod for the wire goes through this double wall construction. The whole system is supposed to be dishwasher safe. Now I imagine how running at the Hole in the lid and dishwasher water slowly drips back onto the prepared coffee, simply delicious. This problem has a twice as expensive French press from a different manufacturer, which is used by my daughter also. On the cleaning in the dishwasher should thus be better avoided in my opinion.
The cover is worth it to me almost another star deduction. The unbeatable price raises in my eyes this shortcoming, however, again.
Short for addition: The terminal is very strong. The Kaffelot is somewhat crudely attached to the terminal.
Since I just wanted a durable French press, which I got, I do not rate it with the addition.
I also did not check whether and how long will get a pleasant coffee temperature remains. The choice of a French press of metal just fell on me because I had no desire to annoy me at irregular intervals over burst glasses at other French press.
