At the control I got used quickly than previously thought. With brake, handbrake and forced drifts (brake press once) to get well in narrow urban areas cope. The control is not as heavy as drift in Hot Pursuit, the player can in principle in Most Wanted even more control over their own driving style. To my mind a little too slow the cars react in fast avoidance maneuvers. Skillfully at high speed through the traffic to "meander" is hardly possible without one or other violent crash. All in all, I find the control but as successful.
The graphics are mostly become very good. Reflections in the wet, changing weather and day night cycles are phenomenal. The background music is true mainly my taste and invites both for cruising or for "heating" a. The engine sounds are among the best I have ever heard on PS3. Alone therefore makes it already incredibly easy fun only by the urban areas to "boards" and looking for, eg advertising signs and / or sealed gate openers. Flying through respectively passing through these "obstacles" is even a part of career progression.
The gameplay is significantly different from the original -MW- from 2005. Of course, I did this before purchasing known, so I knew what the new -MW- mainly happens. Criterion -MW- is a good mix of Hot Pursuit, orig. Most Wanted and Burnout Paradise gameplay elements.
The duration of the "career" depends on the individual player. The 10 Most Wanted races are relatively "fast" available. When the cars are unlocked but each itself is left. Police pursuits including investigation stages are finally staged challenging and exciting again!
Many small and medium shortcomings prevent big litter (at least for me). The "car maintenance" is a bit too radical stepped into the background. A workshop for body kits etc. I'd still want me. Only 2 perspectives (where is the hood view?) For the car is a little too frugal. An accompanying "Story" with various characters would not have been bad. In addition, sometimes the "rubber band AI" too pronounced.
Despite all these "limitations" This is since -Undercover- finally a open-world need for speed, as you imagine it! Strong buy recommendation for all speed junkies ;-)
