Need for Speed ​​Shift

I purchased the game Need for Speed ​​Shift for Xbox360. The game itself is mostly well done, so how it's just come to expect from Need for Speed. The choice of cars is great, the duties and the races are not bad and also fun. The challenges and the demands of driving are partly high, sometimes so high that you feel unable to fulfill the task. However, only if you take the time, has a lot of patience and always resist trying it, you will be rewarded with success. Of course, it also depends on what you set on starting a career, do you mean, what difficulty choosing. I can only recommend not to play the hero and careful to start, so one of the game is not taken.

The greatest difficulties make me the drift's, so I'm just very difficult to clear. But even here it has reinforced itself to show perseverance and a lot to practice.

The handling of the cars is a little getting used to, not to say a little spongy / rubbery. However, it also depends very much on here, what you drive a car and how to have it tuned and adjusted. It also plays an essential role, how or with what one controls the vehicles. By that I mean, for example, if you play with the normal Xbox360 controller or controlled by a steering wheel or a Wireless Speed ​​Wheel.
One can there really notice differences in the handling of the vehicles.

In this regard, I would like to say that this is by no means an exact driving simulation. In this game, more is the fun factor in the foreground and therefore this game is more an arcade game the same. If you like an original or exact / real driving simulation, should resort to other racing games.

At this point, I have to point out that the game does not allow to program the existing controller or adjust manually. It has only a few preset controller functions that need to cope.
Since I use a normal Xbox 360 controller, I can use all the functions in the game. However, controlling the vehicles, in my opinion is to not sooo precisely, as one would wish.

In this regard, I have recently bought myself a Wireless Speed ​​Wheel control. And this is where the problem begins then. Because based on the predetermined / pre-programmed controller functions in the game and the lack of at least two buttons on the Wireless Speed ​​Wheel (it lacks the RB / LB keys), you can therefore no longer even play in the game, not all functions and all games. I have made myself times the Internet smart if the issue is known and whether or how to fix or work around the issue. Unfortunately, the information was not so influenced by this success, as I had imagined. While it was written that it was supposed to be possible to replace the missing keys so that, by simply using the normal controller start the game and from a certain point then must activate the Wireless Speed ​​Wheel, but that has never worked with me.

Thus, should / can I continue playing the game only with a normal Xbox360 controller. Whether these problems also occur with a steering wheel, I do not know at the moment.

These are also the reasons why I've only awarded 3 stars for this game. Because I do not like when my only limited adjustment is offered as a player in terms of the controller functions. Would it perhaps someday give an update (even if the game is on the market for a few years), where the player can adjust its own controller / program, I would have awarded 4 stars for this game also.

Nevertheless, it is great fun with the different cars to race through the landscapes. In this regard, I can play a friend, provided you're willing to give up a Wireless Speed ​​Wheel control.
