For wet-shaving, there are many points that a spoil life (as opposed to dry shavers): cost of blades, lubricity, durability, etc. make life really hard and I've tried all sorts of razors. Especially the highly acclaimed Gillette where 4 blades cost as much as one month's installment of a home. I fell frequently on the marketing campaign of this company. The Mach3 I've never used, but always the latest models of the merger.
The merger is brilliant for body shaving, but not the face. He tears right out the hair. Especially around which chin. That makes this ritual really painful and I would like to then no longer shave wet. At least not with the merger.
Now I had the choice: Mach3 or a Wilkinson Hydro. 3 blades are less than 5 I thought there is more space between the blade and then the probably not tear. When I saw the prices of the blade, I knew right away that it is the Wilkinson. For the Hydro 5 7 euros for 4 and Hydro 3 only 5 euros for 4 blades. When regular Mach3 is 11 Ocken.
By chance I saw this shaver, which was advertised in my drugstore in a black special edition with 5 Replacement Blades for free. So I naturally accessed.
So again 5 blades. Not really what I wanted. So again: beat shaving, apply, moisten shaver, first train on the chin, readying for pain ....
Nothing. The razor glides like a hot knife through butter. I really did not believe it. He not only looks good, it also shaved like that. I have no idea whether the vibration helps that it does not pull. That is quite questionable, but I do not care. I feel a minimal difference, if I just do not activate the vibration. Compared to the merger, it is a godsend.
The razor leaves a gel film on the skin, which is so wet that it takes when removing the razor from the skin sutures. The skin then feels like freshly washed and creamed. I think that's awesome. Even the mechanism for the rear Place the chamber I think well done. This razor is fixed and rigid. 5 blades do what the fusion blade in 4 trains shaft in one. I would have perhaps desired bracket, or at least one cap for the blade. But you have been really looking to criticize this shaver.
I'm going to someday the Hydro Buy 3 blades to see if it also works with those as well. But the razor suggests the merger already in the 1 st round co. There's no question that I'll never use again Gilette, if one gets such a shaving for so little money! The blades keep even a bit longer than the Fusion! I'm excited! 5 *
