1. Solitaire: As I said, if you have the album you ever heard completely, it acts more as I find. Beautiful violin instrumental intro that the style of this album underlines equal - more epic, but less speed. 5 Stars
2. Rule the World: The intro follows on directly: And this song is really terrific - especially the melody should be emphasized here, and you realize that it is more concerned as to Khan's voice. Beautiful oriental-inspired sounds into midtempo. 5 Stars
3. Ghost Opera: I can not get enough of this song, every week I hear him going up and down. Poignant sense (it seems to me, my predecessor has this not quite understand), grandiose melody with the usual speed of the tape - here is connected to Symphonic Power Metal. 5 Stars
4. The Human Stain: A song about the stupidity of the people. Is really so, and I think it's great how such considerations of songwriters are brought over. Well done here, but not a milestone within the album. 4 stars
5. Blucher: Begins mysterious with muffled voices and engine noise, opens in a tune that promises more and are more. Beautiful song. The meaning of the text, I can not say Blücher in itself has many meanings ... but it plays well clear in a time of war to 2x Durchhhören.
6. Love you to Death: Here at last are the ghosts, I would say, because I can imagine that many of these Lyriks only the thought comes: Kitsch! They are not necessarily so wrong. Rather an exception text Kamelot, I would claim. Still, I like the song, because I associate it with something personal. 4 stars
7. Up trough the Ashes: Especially with this song is in my opinion clear that 'Ghost Opera' will bring a experimental impression. Song of the 'heavy type', behind the much Epik infected. There but could have been longer ;-): p 4 1/2 stars
8. Mourning Star: meaning Geschwängerter choir, which merges into a slightly more upbeat number, behind the epic lies with which you would have now well befriended, if the type of album appeals. Here are Thomas again so'n Bissel at ;-) 4 1/2 stars, as not fully developed
9. Silence of the Darkness: A more typical number of Camelot, the more changes in tempo. Goes back more ear pure. 4 1/2 stars
10. Anthem: Well, what can you add to this large say ... Roy Khan wrote it for his little son, and when you know that the song is just not nice ... 5 stars
11. Eden Echo: Starts rather unusual, and that's what makes the song so special. By the way back a bit cliché afflicted text ;-) But has nevertheless I find it simply super. 5 Stars
12. The Pendulous Fall: Hmm ... what can I say. I do not find him very exhilarating, is actually a very untypical song "rumpendelt" somewhere in the metal sector. The only weak song on the album. 3 stars
Metal is not there to produce catchy tunes - I differ because, in general, because often earwigs arise simply because it is intentional (---> Popular Music), and the "right" arise because we love the music and in she feels inside. Metal is there to inspire with this kind of music and slow to pull out of the synagogue. And if you're a bit on 'Ghost Opera' gets involved and Kamelot depreciates rather than pure power / progressive metal band, you will quickly see how complex this album is good but, with its many but not insanely well-placed gloss points. As for the length, I have to give my predecessor however right: It really is a bit short, but Karma was, for example, strictly speaking, not much longer, if you subtract the senseless minutes of 'Fall from Grace' ;-)
Absolutely listen:
Ghost Opera itself
Blücher
