Comments in the One and Zero are alike because it is in almost exactly the same helmet. See end for the differences between the two.
Packaging worthy, glossy plastic, bold and cold, very pleasant to the touch, beautiful pieces of steel in the knuckles, comfortable cushions, solid feel! Bonus: braided son (that is gold bar in my case: no node and what a pleasure to spread) of 3 meters, yes: 3 meters long!
The atria are really wide and completely covers the ears - wear them for 3 hours is effortless. The headphones in general is a tad heavy, however (more than my Sennheiser HD558 I use to movies or series anyway). That said, the giant microphone is as solid as the rest and the volume placed on the right ear is well done: completely closed, it does not cut the sound, which is perfect whether it is connected via headphones.
So much for the appearance and comfort: 5 stars, this headset merit.
In Action (tested on CoD Black Ops II and Borderlands II) for one hour:
- Superlative bass (somewhat better than on the Sennheiser G4ME Zero).
- Acute perfect.
- Micro without background noise or nearly new reference.
My helmet SteelSerie Siberia, although somewhat less expensive and really (really!) Good, just take a beating ...
If you hesitate between Zero and One:
- The One is a little better low side in my opinion.
- The One is open (the people around you will hear part of what you listen) while the Zero is closed (your neighbors will embrace you in the neck to find out what you are listening - which can be interesting if s 'calls Leah notice :-)
- The pads are the One fabrics (fresh even in summer), while those of Zero are leatherette (wetting when it's 28 Celsius ...)
- The Zero is portable due to its briefcase but it is not small (but excellent).
Please feel free to ask me questions - I would do my duty to answer them if I can.
Good game ^^
