This Estampie album is really an enrichment for every standing on Paganfolk, Folk, World and Medieval music. A perfectly round and catchy work, which will not be bored even after repeated listening. Everywhere small instrumental gimmicks are hidden, which the listener sometimes reveal themselves only after repeated enjoy. The polyphonic singing in perfect harmony and is sometimes emotional, sometimes vigorously, sometimes spherically adapted to the particular song. The instrumentation is very exciting because Arabic instruments like santur, a kind of dulcimer, or the Turkish Saz also occur as hurdy-gurdy, nyckelharpa, a super played bagpipes, flutes and even trumpet. This album has an absolute Soundtrack potential and could also be used loosely in the tolkienischen films. Dance bar, träumbar, full of imagination and musical ideas, never a dull moment.
