Hard to be "objective" to comment on this purchase. I'm not a pro in the photo. I started and I learn every day. I will say that for a / a beginner (e) it is difficult to handle. Manage blur is not clear yet I have autofocus (D3000 camera). I find that the implementation of the objective is a little hard on my device compared to my other goals of the same brand. But once activated no complaints. The quality is impeccable as all nikkor obviously. I think that before such a purchase even if the price is more than reasonable, you must already manage the photo. It is pro equipment. Forget the zoom. It does not exist on this. We must move, which learns to discover the world around us ;-) The image quality is undeniable. It is also an extremely bright lens. I tested light off in the dark with the flash still, I had an image as with the light on. I think for the concerts must be extra provided they front the stage for the close.
