Basically the supplied shelf is as shown. However, there are some unsightly deviations. 1. The metal brackets are not painted black, but yellow galvanized. 2. The wood is not painted as would suggest to the picture but oiled, which dull areas arise. 3. It is not the natural wood color - it is stained dark - places very careless. Some edges were sanded after pickling appear again - stain gone - bright edge. 4. The wood has knots and is in the range of soils (stapled) unclean and easily processed. With some reworking but you get out a visually appealing appearance. Since the shelf is pickled and oiled must be careful with sensitive shoes because there could be spots otherwise. Also regular care with wood oil needed to get the look. For the price you can certainly not build itself ...
