I own this Gigaset since 14 days. Overall, I am satisfied. Although interlocutor sound a little tinny (through the handset), but I've heard worse. The handset fits comfortably in your hand and the speed in the menus and in the phone book is good. The Hörerlaustärke is at the highest level in order to my taste but could be quiet a little louder. But what I find really disturbing and there are 2 star deduction: The Gigaset E630 is advertised by the manufacturer with convenient handsfree (full duplex speakerphone mode). This feature has the Gigaset E630 but definitely not. The speakerphone only works reciprocally with this model - that is, if the call partner says something and it is called itself at the same moment, the language of the interlocutor choppy. The one knows actually only by the very cheap cordless phones, given the quite steep price in my opinion should be included after a speakerphone in full duplex process - especially as the unit is advertised as. I initially thought my unit would have broken and it can be replaced, the replacement unit but unfortunately the same dilemma. It is also definitely not the telephone line. The Gigaset is operated on a normal analog telephone line to the telephone socket. In your experimental use of other Gigasets the convenient handsfree works on my phone line.
