I have bought the item and had fully expected that it is glass.
Nope. It is a semi-hard plastic. You can not get a good grip when he sticks to the wheel and you always have to be afraid to slip off.
I'm going to definitely buy other on occasion.
A plus point have these things. They keep very well at the plate (I hope permanently)
