My impressions of the game I would like to briefly summarize again:
Positives:
[+] Gravity # It's just huge mood and there are thus many new opportunities to reach places. The level design has been adjusted accordingly and offers a completely new gaming experience with dogfights, etc. Some opponents fly to a killing and occasionally from the atmosphere. ; D
[+] New characters and old friends # Borderlands lives of its unique characters! Old acquaintances encountered in a known manner in a number of side quests or the main story, and also new groovy characters just waiting to make your acquaintance.
[+] The good old humor # Developers have not the least bit diminished on this point! Absolutely brilliant and according to its predecessors.
[+] The Grinder! # If you do not need any more certain weapons of a type, you can 3 of them in the grinder (converter) pack, and get a new, better luck with weapons.
[+] Story # A new story that demonstrated capacity to time between the two predecessors, and the story of Handsome Jack tells. Depending on the style of play and side quests to the story in about 15 - have to cope with 20 hours.
[+] With Heroes # claptrap, Athena, Nisha and Wilhelm 4 completely new classes with different skill trees are playable. The characters you already know from Borderlands Borderlands 1 and 2. Other classes are yet to be released with the upcoming DLCs.
[+] Vehicles # New vehicles such as the Stingray, a kind of hovercraft are available and can be used in combination with great gravity.
[+] Bosse # Depending on the difficulty extremely demanding and varied encounters. Especially after the final boss-fight I was vollstens satisfied without wanting to spoil. ;)
Neutral:
[O] DLCs # I personally as neutral. New content is great, but it is also felt in the wallet. I personally found the Headhunter DLCs in Borderlands 2 (in scope) an impertinence, and hope that the DLC track this time is not overused.
[O] Level Design # For many a big gripe - the "monotonous" Level Design on the moon. I can understand to some degree. Pandora (Borderlands 2) had as a little more variety to offer. Overall, however, still in the context in my opinion.
[O] enemy types # same as the level design. Some enemy types recur or dive in similar form again.
[O] difficulty # In Normal mode (initial playthrough) in my opinion much too simple. In real-exterminator mode then luckily significantly more demanding!
[O] music # Is a matter of taste, but compared to its predecessor in my opinion, monotonous and sometimes not so good. Rarely there are passages with "groovy", varied music.
[O] weapons # New here are laser weapons with various elemental abilities, such as the freezing of opponents. Removes were instead Slag- and E-Tec weapons.
Negatives:
[-] # Scope Regarding sidequests and long-term motivation had Borderlands 2 really much more to offer. With all the side quests and the main story I was after about 20 hours of playing time. In retrospect, the Pre-Sequel therefore offers less content for the same price.
[-] Bugs # Minor bugs are noticed. Looten me has not been in a few cases (eg in a closet) possible because the loot was hidden by textures. Overall, however, nothing critical thing is fixed with patches coming hopefully.
The review is based on my personal experiences and impressions, and about 35 hours of play time.
I hope it was informative and helpful. I would appreciate (constructive) feedback of any kind.
