To get our notebook again we pay eventually. A lawsuit would not have been worthwhile for reasons of cost for us here.
Our summary is it that we will never again buy a Toshiba laptop, and our next notebook we will in no real market buy more, but again through Amazon directly. We have never had problems. Amazon, you can twist it anyway you want is for me the most customer-friendly platform ever.
Addendum: Toshiba disclaims all warranty for a foreign intervention of (is so in the guarantee terms), which is not at all notebook manufacturers like that. That alone is never to buy a notebook Tohsiba already a reason for us. Everyone who has ever had for repair their notebook knows how long it may take until the unit returns.
